PT b1 s-type horizontal bandsaw

The PT b1 s-type horizontal bandsaw is an enhanced version of the b1 series cutter that secures significantly higher efficiency and comfort of operation, when compared to the base version of the device

Technical details:

• Cut length of up to 14 m
• Max. diameter of the cut log: 1 m
• Max. distance between the saw guiding rolls: 76 cm
• Vertical clearance between the band and the header: 28 cm

• Clutch with a brake for smooth start and braking of the cutting band unit, controlled with a handle attached to the electrical cassette

• Electric adjustment sliding of the header (up/down) controlled by cutting programmer (precision of the header positioning of +/- 0.2 mm)
• Electric drive with smooth adjustment
• Hydraulic log handler – 6 splitter sections (2x leveling, clamping, chain roller, movable brakes)
• Additional mechanical clamping on the frame of the machine
• Undercutter (barker – cuts a grove in the bark of the log before it reaches the cutting band) – electrically controlled
• Operator chair with control panel

The saw can be produced in different versions, e.g. with a loading ramp or loading clamps, and each hydraulic element can be multiplied to double hydraulics with controls on both ends of the machine, allowing for a two stand operation.
